68 years or 56 years before Hijra, in a land where everyone considered girls as sinister, a girl was born who as her name(Khadija) showed was far from any obscenity.
Her mother and father were monotheists and well-known among the Arabs in terms of lineage, wealth and respect.
Her father is the same brave man who stood up against the authoritarian king of Yemen who had decided to transfer Hajar ol-Asvad or the Black Stone to his land and protected the sanctity of Kaaba from his unclean hands.
She learned chivalry from her father, Assad, who was one of the pioneers of the Hilf al-Fudul Alliance, the same alliance that made the Prophet of Islam famous among the Arabs.
The epithets of Hazrat Khadija (peace upon her)
She has been called as “Siddiqa” or a pious woman in the ziayrah of the Messenger of Mercy, and “Mubarakeh” or auspicious is the name chosen by the Bible for her. She is an auspicious lady who is the descendant of the Prophet of End Time!
She was called as Tahereh because she was one of the most pure and chaste ladies of the time during Jahiliyyah or the age of ignorance, and despite her wealth and magnanimity, she feared God and did not lose control!
She was also called as Razieh and Marzieh because she was pleased with the divine destiny and her God is pleased with her! She was Zakia; Pure and clean in every way, whether her worldly body or her great soul and pure thought!
She was the only supporter of the Prophet and her mother Zahra!
She correctly has been narrated as the best women of paradise! Her beautiful morals cannot be portrayed by the pen.
The more we write about her virtues the less it is and we have not fulfilled her right!
There are less people like this good lady who was well known for her merits during the ignorance age of Hejaz, as if history has never seen such a lady! Her wisdom and prudence, her faith and essence of spirituality, her knowledge and awareness of the heavenly books, her intellect and understanding, her chastity and self-control, all of these have saved Khadija from the bites of evil!
She was called “Queen of Bat’ha” in those days when chivalry was buried under the rubble, and “Umm Al-Ietam” or the mother of orphans was a nickname for which she was praised!
The wealth of Khadija (peace upon her)
There is a lot talk about her wealth and her economical thought which encouraged every man of name and position to marry her!
The owner of thousands of camels and servants that Egypt, Syria and Abyssinia were her trading lands! She chose men to entrust her property and did not pollute her property with haram and suspicion!
Khadija’s marriage with the Messenger of God
Her suitors have not been underestimated, but what distinguished her from the worldly women was her pure look at choosing a husband! Because the one who has a heavenly nature cannot be combined with the worldly one! She should be compared with the angles!
She loved the noble man of Quraysh Tribe, Mohammad because he was confirmed by God, and she considered herself as his maidservant.
When the time came for her that the elders of her family proposed her, and when the Quraysh believer her uncle proposed her for his nephew, nobody except “The honest man of Quraysh” was equal for her!
Yes, Khadija, the girl, whose age has been quoted as 22 years, 25 years and 28 years, and the mischief of history have introduced her as a 40-year-old widow, made the house of the honest man of Quraysh a safe haven and refuge for her worldly life with great desire, so that she could reach the heavenly sky through “Mohammad”.
A unique wife
Years passed from her companionship with the noble man of Quraysh until the days of the awakening of this lady arrived! Khadija, who was a follower of the Abrahamic religion for many years and was considered as Honafa, embraced the truth of Islam on the first day of the Bi’tha (selection of prophet by God for the guidance of people) so that her name on the pages of history would amaze everyone “like a pure pearl and a shining gem”!
She devoted everything she had with sincerity in spreading and propagating the divine religion of Islam and did not spare her property.
She, whose home was the abode of revelation and the courier of revelation, considered conveying the peace and blessings of God as her need!
She is the one whose tears for the sufferings of the Messenger of God and her perplexity for finding the prophet, who was attacked by the idiots of Quraysh, caused the angels to cry. Gabriel was commissioned to send God’s greetings to her and brought her the good news of a palace in paradise to comfort her.
Khadija
Khadijeh is called by the Messenger of God as one of the four ladies of Paradise. He considers her as Omm ol-Fadha’el or the mother of all virtues, calling his pure generation from her being, while none of his other wives had such a virtue!
Khadija! is the same beloved of God who loved her deeply and respected her friends for the sake of her affection too.
Khadija! is the same wife whom God did not give to his prophet better than her and there was no alternative for her!
Khadija! is the same lady who became a privilege over the Alawite virtues due to her being.
Khadija! is the one who is unknown and whatever the world of Islam has, owes to her.
Kahdija! Not only was she the wife of Prophet of God, but her accompaniment in his helpless days was a source of encouragement and strength for him.
Tolerating the sufferings of the Prophet
The days when few people were tolerant, the days when the rumen was poured on the head of his prophet, the days when the rubbish was sprinkled on his face, in those days when satirical poems were written in condemnation of him, the one who waited impatiently for the “Prophet of God” was the lovely presence of Khadijah.
She waited for hours for him to knock the door and refresh the house with Mohammadi perfume. She who did not spare even a moment her lovely supports in order to make everyone understand that Khadija did not devote only her wealth; she gifted her soul to her Prophet and portrays this ayah in holy Quran “The Prophet has a greater claim on the faithful than they have on themselves.”
She spent her days and nights worrying about her sweetheart’s state until the divine miracle chose him as Prophet of God.
“Glory be to Him who made his servant to go on a night from the Scared Mosque to the remote mosque” …
Fatemeh, the gift of God Almighty to Hazrat Khadija (peace upon her)
The word reached Me’raj or Ascension and a gift that flowered Khadija’s skirt forever.
Gabriel! Brought a gift for his last Messenger to be a particle for creating the Night of Qadr.
Forty days of separation from “Mohammad” had made “The Queen of Bat’ha” impatient, and after his visit, the pearl of existence “Fatemeh” came to this world.
The women of Quraysh whose eyes saw only the little walnut of this world rejected the Omm ol-Fadha’el of Quraysh, and she filled her loneliness with the beautiful voice of her sweet-spoken daughter. Now, her daughter was the companion of the mother in the moments of loneliness.
Days passed until the auspicious birthday of her daughter arrived, but, but! Khadija, the noble lady of Mecca was different from other women! Any hand did not deserve to touch her gem.
God sent “Sareh, Asieh, Saphoura and Maryam” to help the incomparable lady of his Prophet and accompany the moments of her loneliness, remove the dust of sorrow from her face and soothe her tired soul.
Now, the pure lady of Mecca had become a mother and her child was a proof out of divine proofs.
Khadija had everything and no shortage
Khadija, the daughter of Khuwaylid showed the entire world that being a friend of the Messenger of God, not only requires spending money, but you must sacrifice your life for the sake of the sincerity of his service.
Being a Muslim and being the lady of the Prophet, not only requires faith, but also demands decency in the presence of the Prophet.
Being dear and loving not only demands the beauty of face, but also requires a good mood and submission.
Khadija had everything and had no shortage.
She had understood well the ayah “Is not Allah sufficient for His servant?” and believed in “So he who has done an atom’s weight of good shall see it.”
The Queen of Bat’ha, who had sacrificed her life for years to protect the man of her life, was slowly coming to the end of her life.
And the Prophet! by losing an indefatigable supporter like Aboutaleb, was happy to have Khadija.
The heartbreaking passing away of Hazrat Khadija (peace upon her)
But! But! Alas for the world whose existence container had become small for Khadija and it wanted to give its first slap on the darling face of Umm Al-Mu’minin.
And now the chaste lady of the Beloved of God is lying in the bed facing the sky. The queen who had shared the sweet moments of her youth with the orphan of Abdullah was now supposed to leave the companion of her times alone in the heart of all these enemies and ascend to her Lord by herself.
A Tahereh lady, who was once the envy of Quraysh women for her glory and grandeur, was on the verge of leaving this world.
Now, it was the turn of the will and orders of the heavenly lady of the Last Messenger.
Khadija and abandoning Mohammad! Khadijah and not seeing the charming and charismatic face of Mohammad! Khadijah and separation from the Kowthar of Mohammad.
The wills of the lady of Prophet
The sweet-spoken lady started talking:
O Messenger of Allah! I have neglected you, forgive me.
Allaho Akbar from all this humbleness O mother!
And the Prophet responded to her:
I have not seen any negligence from you while you tolerate the suffering of tiredness in my house and spent your properties in the way of God.
A mother who, after many years has given birth to a daughter, leaves this world and her anxiety is her single daughter. So she devotes her second will to her! How can she who have taken care of orphans for years, leave her daughter alone?
Take care of my daughter! Do not let any of the Quraysh women harm her! Don’t let anybody give her a slap! Do not let anyone shout at her! Lest they offend her.
But I am ashamed to express my last will! I mediate my Fatima.
My daughter! The light of my eyes! Tell your unique father that my mother is afraid of the grave, so bury me in the garment he was wearing at the moment of the divine revelation! “.
And when the little girl returned with the father’s garment, a happy smile lit up Khadija’s sick face again.
The Prophet of God, who had not yet recovered from the grief of the loss of “Aboutaleb”, now had to bear the absence of his beloved on his warm shoulders.
Khadijah, who had spent years, day and night in service and companionship with the Prophet, and who had left this world free from all her belongings, was bathed and shrouded by her charming sweetheart. Again, God of the Prophet’s Nazareth honored the Prophet with a shroud of paradise so that everyone would know that Khadija is not an example. No one can reach her in rank and position, and the cunning of the sick heart and hypocrites will disgrace their Abyssinian face. Because “and they planned and Allah also planned, and Allah is the best of planners“.
The sorrow and grief of the Prophet in separation of his Khadija
Now Umm al-Qura, the city of Mecca was tighter than ever for the Prophet, there was neither any Aboutaleb to sacrifice his little son to him, and nor any Khadija to be happy with her support.
And the Prophet left his hometown and called that year as Aam Al-Huzn or the Year of Sorrow and not a moment passed that the reminding of Khadija’s name and memory did not make stormy the sea of his beautiful eyes.
Yes! a lady whose wealth and support nurtured the seedlings of Islam; a lady who irrigated the fledgling garden of Islam with her kindness and wisdom has deeply indebted to every follower of Islam and still does.
We hope that with the blessing of the prayer of the last child of the Great Khadija, “Hazrat Sahib al-Zaman”, we succeed in knowing and recognizing her. Let’s remove her holy area from the targets of seditions, and let everyone know her character and face in order to extend our devotion to her and become one of her intercessors.
