Bahai-born teenager in Boshrouyeh converted to Islam
The name Hussein felt familiar for her from childhood and was impactful in her heart, until the most fateful occurrence of her life happens in Tassoa (The ninth day in the month Muharram) and on the verge of Arbaeen (Theday belonging to the master of all martyrs, his holiness Abaabdellahalhussein) it is set in stone.
The young girl born in a Bahai family in Boshrouyeh spends resentful and confusing days in a family with two inclinations; One towards Islam originating from her mother and the other towards Baha’i from her father. She decides to start to study and research. “ Taraneh” says: I liked so much to completely know Islam, every human being walks a path in their hearts and I was Baha’i from my father’s side while my mother has converted to Islam so I started to research. This young girl talks about a critical trip: After my journey to Turkey, many bitter things happened to me , mistakes that made me disappointed dimming the light of any hope for improvements; However in those heavy circumstances I realized that Iran and Islam are in every way more complete, better, really beautiful and remarkably amazing thus, I continued researching more in this field.
But a great mistake had been made in my life, so effective that I had deemed it unsolvable hence feeling disappointment until the night of Tassoa, this year, may heart was guided towards the affection and love of
His holiness Abolfadhl (blessings be upon him) and i would hear or be told about his miracles. Of course at first I doubted them, thinking they are all fake until the night of Tassoa I desperately reached out and sought help from Abolfadhl (blessings be upon him) to correct my mistakes and in return, I will promise him to convert to Islam according to my faiths and researches.
A torch in the heart of night’s darkness Taraneh Husseinie Monfared , the Baha’i-born teenager that talks with taste and joyful tears about the moments of inner trust in Islam, adding: Despite pouring my heart out to his holiness Abolfadhl (blessings be upon him), nothing special happened in the night of Tassoa and the following night I talked to myself and felt a bit frustrated till I witnessed my problems being miraculously solved, I was so shocked and instantly regretted my previous doubting words and then promised Abolfadhl (blessings be upon him) to convert to Islam.
After this occurrence, I gained so much hope about my inner faiths and by studying and researching more than before, I realized the religion of Islam is a real heaven existing in everyone’s nature; From childhood I was so interested in Islam and this day I decide to formally introduce Islam and attempt to follow its commands as much as I can. Taraneh which speaks about her new birth with utmost enthusiasm and excitement, mentions: I have made this significant decision about my life with complete mental health and extensive study and I wish to see Imam Hussein’s Karbala. It’s worth to say that morning today “ Taraneh Husseinie Monfared” while being accompanied by her mother and grandmother attended the office of
Friday prayer’s leader in Boshrouyeh and after performing conversion rituals in the presence of Sheikh Muhammad Shamsoldin and the declaration of aversion to Baha’i sect and converting to Islam, joined the heavenly faith of Shia. In this ceremony, Sheikh Muhammad Shamsoldin after congratulating the young girl from Boshrouyeh for converting to Islam and the denomination
of Shia, declared: Millions of people go on a pilgrimage to Karbala in Arbaeen, bare-footed only for the love of Imam Hussein (blessings be upon him) and we shall take this blessed incident which occurred on the verge of Husseini Arbaeen and the day of general culture as a good omen. The leader of Friday prayer added: This teenage girl has been informed well through the endeavors of one of the women from Boshrouyeh about the kind religion of Islam in addition to herself having done vast researches in the field. After mentioning the fact that Islam is the most complete sacred religion, he said: Islam is the religion of life, Its world-wide and eternal which brings the right path to bliss and completion in this world and the other. All its principles and plans are designed towards the belief of God’s oneness and having faith in God. Love is one of the most valued qualities of humankind as well as one of the prominent conditions of faith in God. At the end of this spiritual ceremony, the teenage girl from Boshrouyeh recited the Shahadatein ( I bear witness that there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is his prophet and I bear witness that Ali is his chosen) and was gifted with a Quran, a prayer rug and some religious books.
