Sadegh of al-e Mohammad (Peace upon him)
If you want to learn his teachings, you run short of ink-pod and notebook for writing his knowledge! He has spoken for all that provides for this world and the hereafter!
He has expressed everything ranging from Ahkam or rulings to the beliefs!
When you scrutinize his words, you will find tears whose retelling will make you look for the cause.
Sadir Seirafi, a lover of him quotes that I along with Mafzal and Abou Basir and Aban visited our Imam and found him in a bad situation. He had been sitting on the ground and weeping like a mother shoe child has died, saying, “My lord! Your absence does not let me sleep and my heart aches. My lord! Your absence has linked my sadness to tragedies till eternity.”
I couldn’t tolerate his sorrowful tears and found out that he was suffering a calamity. II asked him the reason and he answered with a deep sigh, “This morning I looked at the book “Jafr”… and pondered on it about the birth of our Imam Zaman and his absence and its delay and its longevity and the suffering of the believers at that time and the emergence of doubt in their hearts due to the length of his absence.” The word still remains and I am left with a world of shame!
I am ashamed that, like my friend Ja’far ibn Muhammad, he did not wink in his absence!
I am ashamed that not seeing him did not take comfort from my heart and did not add sorrow to me!
I am ashamed that I did not have a hand to help him!
I am ashamed of him that his absence and afflictions have not made me impatient.
O the owner of Sadegh tears! Pray for me and recite Gharigh supplication in your Qonoot, so that I may always be among the ones who guide me!
Let us listen to the lessons of “Ja’far ibn Mohammad” more than ever and follow him like Abou Basir and Sadir. Let’s know him by the beauty of his words!
